Where to Visit in Portland, Oregon:

I am so excited to share our Travel Guide to Portland Oregon! What I love about Portland as a city is that it feels electric, fun + inviting. There are always people out + about, with so many little eateries pulling you in different directions.

Explore + Experience Oregon:

Cannon Beach

Even if you’re just there for the weekend, it’s SO WORTH IT to drive to the coast!
We hopped in our camper van + headed strait for the coast. We explored the areas of Seaside (a bit more touristy + busy) and our favorite, Cannon Beach. Next time, I want to explore more there and see Astoria. After spending the day at the beach, we camped at Nehalem Bay in our GoCamp rental but there are a few different campsites near by! Manzanita Beach is just south and the area is beautiful.
While you’re in Cannon Beach, I recommend:
Pelican Brewing for good beer + go eats

Portvandia + Other Camper Vans From Go Camp Rentals

Since we were coming into town for just a short time and knew we wanted to see/do a lot in different areas, we decided to go with a camper van. We found GoCamp + love that they’re like an ‘Airbnb’ situation for camper vans in Oregon + California. We rented a camper van in O’ahu a couple of years ago + had the time of our lives so we were definitely up for the adventure!

Having the ‘Portvandia’ was such a treat! We were able to have our rental car + hotel all in one! We explored all around Portland, visited the spots we wanted to see, met friends for lunch and then headed for the coast. This way we weren’t checking in and out of hotels, having a rental car sitting, etc. It came equipped with everything we could have needed (and more) to camp. Next time, we want to stay longer and be able to explore more!

Multnomah Falls

Although Multnomah Falls is TOURISTY AS HELL (do not let the photos fool you, there are ALWAYS a ton of people there) it really is beautiful and majestic. Aaron and I stopped to take a few photos then booked it outta there!

Next On Our List: Crater Lake

Crater Lake is insanely beautiful! Sadly, it’s about four hours south of Portland, Oregon so we had to save it for our next trip!

Hope you found this guide helpful! Portland, Oregon is such a lovely city + I hope to travel here more often!
