Here’s how to spend a weekend in North Conway, New Hampshire…
Amidst everything going on with our renovation, we definitely missed out on many of our favorite ways to soak up summertime in Maine. Before we knew it, the fall season was slipping through our fingers as well and many of leaves had already fallen. We needed a little escape while the floors were getting finished so we met our good friends in North Conway, New Hampshire for the weekend.
COFFEE SHOPS NEAR NORTH CONWAY:
The Met Coffee Shop / Art Gallery
Frontside Coffee Roasters
The Local Grocer
Stop here for espresso, smoothies, to visit their juice bar or shop for any healthy / organic foods you need! This was a great one-stop-shop.
Autumn Nomad
Just a town up from North Conway is the town of Jackson, New Hampshire. We booked a last minute stay at the Eagle Mountain House & Golf Club in Jackson and this darling coffee shop / bakery was just around the corner! They had a great selection of coffees and pastries. I also loved that they had plant-based milk options.
RESTAURANTS & BREWERIES
NEAR NORTH CONWAY:
Chef’s Bistro
Table and Tonic
May Kelly’s Cottage
Traditional, hearty irish pub food. I had the French Onion Soup & a grilled peach salad. The cream ale they had on tap was delicious. Others tried the Shepard’s Pie and the Gaelic Chicken and loved it. Sit in the treehouse if you can!
Barley & Salt Tap House and Kitchen
Thompson House Eatery
Boston Brothers’ Pizzeria
Aaron loved this place for a quick, late-night slice of pizza!
White Mountain Cider Co.
Saco River Brewery
This brewery is actually in Fryeburg, Maine which was on the way for us but depending on which way you’re coming in to NH, this might be out of the way!
HIKES IN NORTH CONWAY,
NEW HAMPSHIRE:
Cathedral Ledge
This was a steep but short hike. You walk up a paved road & the view is lovely for sunrise or sunset! We didn’t have a ton of time to hike sadly but when we return, here are the others we want to check out:
